Terms of Use

SocialMock is a set of browser tools that help creators, designers, marketers and educators make mock-up images of chats and social posts. These terms are an agreement between you and SocialMock (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the service is
The generators draw an image in your browser from the text and pictures you enter. Anyone can use them without an account; free downloads carry a SocialMock watermark. A paid subscription, SocialMock Pro, removes the watermark from downloads. You need to be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account or subscribe.
2. Use it honestly
Mock-ups are meant for design work, presentations, marketing concepts, tutorials, storytelling, satire and similar purposes where the audience is not misled about what they are seeing. You agree that you will not use SocialMock or anything made with it to:
- commit or support fraud, scams, phishing, or any attempt to obtain money, goods, access or information under false pretences;
- impersonate a real person, brand or organisation, or make it look as if someone said or wrote something they did not;
- fabricate evidence, receipts, conversations or records for use in legal, financial, employment, academic, insurance or other proceedings;
- mislead people with fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements, sales figures or engagement presented as genuine;
- spread disinformation, or pass off made-up content as real news or as a real screenshot;
- harass, defame, threaten or bully anyone, or create sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate content;
- infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, for example by uploading photos you have no right to use.
When an image could be mistaken for a real screenshot, label it as a mock-up, illustration or fiction. You alone are responsible for what you create and how you share it. We may suspend or end access, including a paid subscription, if we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of this section; in that case we do not owe a refund.
3. Trademarks and third-party apps
SocialMock is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Apple, TikTok, OpenAI or any other company whose interface a mock-up resembles. Their names and trademarks belong to them and appear only to describe the style of the image. Do not use mock-ups in a way that suggests such a company is involved.
4. Your content
The text and images you enter stay on your device and are not uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy). You keep whatever rights you have in them. You confirm you have the right to use any photo, name or logo you put into a mock-up.
5. Accounts
Accounts use Google sign-in only. Keep access to your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
6. Pro subscription and payment
- SocialMock Pro costs $9 per month (plus any tax shown at checkout) and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can cancel any time from “Manage subscription” in the editor. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.

- We may change the price for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 14 days before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
7. Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove generators and features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we stop offering Pro entirely, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
8. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the images will be suitable for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for how you or others use images made with the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
10. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you created or the way you used it in breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects paying subscribers, we will email them before it takes effect.
